This review is based on this restaurant category: diners. I have only been here for breakfast. I've been coming for about 3 years. Hands down best breakfast special on this area. Specials are available 7 days. Lowest prices compared to other diners. This place is always busy, not necessarily crowded. It is a testament to its quality, high service and prices. This is my go to place for breakfast.

I have driven past this place for years, never once stopping inside to dine. Tonight we all went in right before closing and I hate doing that because you think that the staff will get mad, and the cooks will shut things down and say their out of this or that. This wasn't the case here, in fact they seemed very glad to have us, a party of 6, that late at night in a restaurant that already had a good amount of diners inside. That is a good sign to me, that the place must be pretty good if it has a good amount of people eating inside, and there is no bar! Well a wonderful liver and onions later, and I must say that I am very satisfied with the entire experience. I would go back anytime. Very good food.

Good food, good people. Lots of old people so you know that the food is good and cheap.

Pretty decent food at a reasonable clip. Reminds me of the old high school days when my friend and I would stop here for some quick grub. Is it memorable? Nah, not really. But it gets the job done. Good service and you get what you pay for.

We wanted a quick bite and hadn't been to Wildflower in years. So we thought we'd give it another visit. We ordered breakfast. The eggs were cooked how we ordered them which at some places they are not. Hash browns, bacon and sausage all were properly done the way we expected they should be. The staff is very friendly and attentive, the food is very reasonably priced and arrived at our table after a short wait. It appeared that most of the people were repeat customers which speaks well of a restaurant. Our visit was pleasant and it's a good place to go for an inexpensive but good meal.

I used to eat here all the time as a child, but this place has gone downhill in quality since the 90s. I would probably not eat here again, but I still have the memories of how good this dinner place used to be.

**SHOCKED** No money cards accepted for Breakfast Specials. When I asked why, George the owner went into a rude, in your face rant about his credit card processing charges and that people come and people go "I don't care if people don't come back". WOW, how's that for customer service

This place is packed! Parking lot is full. Wonder if the food is any good? Yes, the food was that good. There were about 7 or 8 servers working in the restaurant on a Saturday afternoon. Now I know why - this place was hopping! I ordered a bowl of vegetable soup and ate a great French Dip with a side of fries. The complimentary bread basket was pretty much empty by the time I left. In the past, I drove by because the parking lot was full. I'm glad I stopped in this time. I will be a repeat customer.

I am from Colorado where chain restaurants reign supreme. Thankfully, this hasn't happened here. Restaurants like the Wildflower, are rare gems. Have had several breakfasts there and have not been disappointed. Even took my wife (who is very critical) there, and she loved it. Keep up the good work.

Food was mediocre, and our waitress was a bit rude and unaware. Other staff members were standing around in the dining room a lot. My own personal experience was a bit disappointing, but I would still come back and try it again.

I love the breakfast here, very good portions, very good prices. The hash browns are a nice thick potato that I recommend cooked well done. Eggs over easy always made right, in and out almost every time without much of a delay.

Ate breakfast there today. Really bad, bad. Over whipped the pancakes so they were really tough. Waitress said, Denver omelette doesn't come with cheese. I know, that is why I ordered it with cheese. She said, I will have him melt some cheese in it. No thanks, it is already way overcooked. Onions still had the skin on them. 2 bites, I'm out. Can't you take a second and pull the bacon apart. Why do I have to tear it apart and wreck it. Just pass on this place for breakfast. Dinner there is very good. Try having that cook make breakfast.

Outstanding. All home cooked meals like u would get at home. No a chain and that great too. You should not be disappointed

You can't beat wildflower for their breakfast. Great food at reasonable prices. My favorite for breakfast.

Consistently good, fast diner to grab a bite to eat. I've never had bad service, or a bad meal here. The staff is usually very friendly, and good at their job.

The Wildflower always has customers especially around breakfast time, so I stopped in to see what was up. It is a small family owned restaurant with plastic wildflower decor that is a little tired but cute. The restaurant is very clean and the service was prompt and friendly. The food was cheap and the portions generous. Breakfast was pretty good, I had the eggbeaters veggie omelette with hash browns and I really enjoyed it. No frills or anything spectacular but it was a good reasonably priced meal.

This place reminds me of a retirement home. Giant menu full of cheap poo. I tried to order items that thought they couldn't possibly mess up, a cup of minestrone soup and a fruit cup. The fruit cup was $2.50 and half of it was canned fruits. The soup was decent. O_O

We eat here fairly often. My spouse likes the whitefish, which I often find overcooked and old tasting. The croutons on their salads are homemade, but greasy. Skip them. What they do get right is the eggbeater veggie omelette. I think they add cream of tartar, as the omelet is so big my spouse christened it the "fluffy omelet". The veggies are cut so tiny they are easy to swallow without chewing. The fruit dish has fresh bananas and oranges, but CANNED pineapple. What a sin that is! Service here is consistently friendly and efficient, and food arrives fast. They are good about refiling your water and coffee, too. Some of the specials are good, as are the soups. I appreciate that they change the flavoring on the veggie sides, though they are overcooked for my taste. The place is often full of senior citizens, probably because you get a big plate of food for your money. It isn't upscale, but most of it is edible or better. I do wish they would shorten the menu and stick to fewer items done really well. Not a place for a special night out, but for breakfast or dining on a budget, it's worth a stop.

This place is cute, the decor is a typical mom-and-pop kind of diner, with plastic wildflowers everywhere to go with the name, and the service was nice, helpful and quick. My friends and I went here for breakfast and I ordered the corned beef hash and eggs which came with toast and a side of pancakes. My hash was okay, the flavor was great, but the texture was from out of a can. It was sloppy and on the gummy side, I prefer a crispier corned beef hash instead of a wet one. The eggs were scrambled nicely, and the pancakes were soft and fluff too and with a side order you get 4 of them, which to me, is a big portion. The toast is what I was very excited about! It was pumpernickel! LISTEN! I rarely go to an establishment that offers pumpernickel as a toast option, so when I get to make that choice, I jump on it and enjoy the hell out of it, deal with it! I'd like to go back and get a club sandwich, it seemed to be THE thing to order there. Next time...

Mmkay. So, what do you get when you have a student who works & goes to school full time AND cooks every day? A very exhausted girl who's looking for a break. Breakfast, that is! :D The food overall was alright. Nothing amazing about it. I had the Belgian waffle which came in a good portion with sad berries. I say sad, because they were canned. How did I know? The color, texture, just blahhh. Hash browns were yummy, but you can't really go wrong with those. A friend had pancakes with the works (including whipped cream) & liked it. I was sad for my other friend who was a vegan & had limited options, but it's somewhat expected of diner-type places. The waitress was nice- not over-the-top-in-your-face- - nice, but ya know. The atmosphere: alright. Would I go again? Probably not, but I love venturing off to new places. :D

This is a cheap place with big portions. It has a lot of older customers which is often a positive sign. You have to know what is safe to order though. Almost any breakfast item is good, but don't expect high end items like fresh hand cut fruit on your pancakes. They do put out plenty of side items like butter pats which I appreciate. It's clean. I've never sat down to a sticky table top or syrup on the salt and pepper shakers. Things like the patty melt at lunch are very good. Basic diner food. For supper standard items like stuffed peppers or meat loaf will be done competently. They unfortunately don't know their own limitations. I ordered a steak when it was on special, and it was horrible. I like my steaks rare and it was cut so thin there was no way to cook it rare as they don't appear to have a real grill that can sear/char it. So they should never have put it on the menu. It was grey all the way through and had been marinaded to death. If you are serving up a marinaded steak you tell people right on the menu it is seasoned. It still was wet with vinegary marinade, which frankly tastes the same as spoiled to me, so I refused to eat it. The manager was very distressed at the loss of money. I really don't want to have a big discussion at my table about why I won't eat something they brought and listen to them defend it. It should have been obvious just to look at the dead grey thing. Does the manager really eat his steak like that? I'd have been more blunt and challenged him to eat it, but I didn't want to embarrass my wife who doesn't like to "make a fuss". So be aware it is a good value as long as you know their limitations. Because they don't.

Breakfast - fine eggs, burned hashbrowns, reheated tasting sausage and bacon tastes like fake bacon. Good service.

This is my favorite breakfast place in Macomb County. The food is good and the price is even better. I always get the two by two which come with a third egg for free. The service is always efficient and the place is always busy.
